I have seen that there are several empty icons still, if you tell me which you would need i can look again at the start of the next week. I've seen symbols for railroad artillery, armoured trains and reserve/Ersatz units.

Thanks for your time Stephan, there's a few icons that are unused yes, not sure what to do with them yet. I'll definitely need Eisenbahnartillerie though, haven't been able to find it (I have armored train already). I'll make a list of all unused symbol soon to see if we can think of something.

I found something here (http://chrito.users1.50megs.com/kstn/okh/okhmain2.htm) :

Very interesting! looks like the glider symbol is the wing with the letters LS above it (for Lasten Segler, just my guess) what do you think?

Is this correct: the unit size flags would not be able to be used at the same time as the NATO symbol size.

If this is the case can we get a shot of what these German graphics would look like with say Division or Corps symbols?

Thanks.

Again, nice effort many thanks!

You hitting one of the problem (the only one left actually) I have with these symbols. The symbols I used are only good for units from Platoon to Brigade, the germans used another kind of icons for Divisions and up, so basically I might have to do two sets of icons. All the difficulty here is to fit a system of symbols that uses a different logic from the NATO one into TOAW, and I'm still unsure that it will work yet.

Lastensegler seems plausible.

Have you thought about how to treat the symbol background colours in the two-coloured icons with the various Gun symbols (AA,AT, Art)?

Yes, that difficulty arose but I think it can be solved with having only the size-flag colored.

I don't think I'll ever use these (I like and understand my NATO icons), but I really do think that they look first class. Kudos, boys.

Looking real good. Cheers.

Is there a set of "small" icons to go with the large icons? Also, are you planning on doing anything with the Russion icon set that I sent to you?

I can look for all the missing ones, but can't promise to find all.

I doubt i will find anything on helicopters and airmobile infantry though..[:D]

Maybe there is something that would make sense and could be used instead of the Combat Commands, maybe something like Jäger Infantry (infantry symbool with "Jäg" on the left side (or inside the icon due to place issues).

Looks real good with the red colour.

Not sure if I will do a small 2D set yet, haven't tried it but i'm afraid the icons will be too small to see anything. Also, I don't plan on doing a russian set, I know nothing about russian tactical symbols. I liked your set though Rhino, you should release it somehow, might interest some people.

Boonierat,

Good question! Can the sounds per unit be changed in the BioEditor? When the data is exported from BioEditor, which number/field would it be?
