Error after reinstall

I just did Format C: and installed WPO again. After i installed the Game i get an Error wich says: "Error: Unabale to find PW Data"

How to fix this Problem?

Using "Search" on your computer how many of this file- War Plan Orange.exe
are found?

i got 1 WPO.exe File on my Harddisks in my WPO Folder

There is one .exe with the game.
 
Missing PW data? Did you download and install the patch?
 
Just to make sure, are you trying to run any custom scenarios, or can you not even get to the main menu?
 
Also, what are your PCs specs (I'm trying to rule out all problems).

Ok, I see you tried to reinstall WPO. Did you update all of your drivers, Windows, and all that other fun stuff? I don't really see how that could do it but iut can't hurt.
 
If nothing else, uninstall the game. Delete the folder. Then reinstall, and apply the patches. That might fix it.

Ok, Your shortcut to the exe is fubar, make a new one.

I reinstalled Java Machine and Direct X. Then i reinstalled the Game and patched it. Now it works fine. Something of that must have been the Problem.

DirectX is the usual problem - I've been there!
