Ooopps doesn't seem to be a good game

I like this game but as I play it the flaws in the system glare to the point that I find it difficult to play.  It is so close to a great game and yet the minor problems are so overwhelming I get discussed with it regualarly.
 
I sincerely hope the patch brings this game closer to its potential.  The designers seem genuinely concerned about making it a good game and that can and will go along way.

It's probably going to take awhile, based on how long it has taken to fix other large strategy games.

The patch being released this week should indicate how well this game can be fixed.

Even so, it's going to take user-made campaigns to truly give players a good challenge.

Not sure about the time period required to fix other games being long but long and short are subjective so one man's long is another man's short. Uhmm, think I heard two women say that one day.

I agree this patch is critical. It will demonstrate to me at least if they understand what we want and if they can do it.

As to user made campaigns I must say I only play one user made campaign in all my games and that is Stoney Road for HOI2. Otherwise I pretty much play the games. I do try the player made stuff and it is sometimes interesting but other the Stoney Road nothing in any of my games has kept my interest.

I do once in awhile play Advanced Third Reich from SC2 which I like but mostly it is the basic game.
