Sealion question

Post by dsawan »

Hi, So far I am enjoying this release of campaign series. got a question. the original Sealion add-on had a scenario which i had stopped short of playing as it was 150 or so turns or something similar. The scenario was an invasion of London, hence so many turns. Just wondering why that scenario was never put in this re-release? It is in the original Sealion expansion add-on to West front. thanks.[:)]

Can you list off the scenario file, or the name of the scenario?

All Sealion scenarios that were included with the Sealion disc should be included.

Sorry but can't think of any such scenario and fear you may be mistaken. The longest scenario that formed part of an official TS release for the WF series was John Schettler's "Red Berets" (Arnham2.scn) at 60 turns.

Try The Wargamer's scenario depot or The Blitz, it could be that you're thinking of a user scenario - if so it may well be available even after this length of time at either of the above.

It occours to me that you my be thinking of the LCG games supplied with Sea Lion ... there was "Operation SeaLion" itself and "A Force 10 Strom" ... you can find them under the "Camapaign" selector. Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Chris

Hi, Yeah you may be right. It was probably an LCG or campaign type. Thanks for the reminder about lcg.[:)]

There is a large 100 turn scenario, titled "Operation Sealion" that you can find here:

But that was not included in the Sealion release, I made and released it afterwards.

It is designed for PBEM.
