Printed manual for Origins purchase??

Post by Keltner »

I purchased this at Origins over the weekend, but the only guy who could answer any questions (Mike) was very busy, so I just bought it. After leaving Origins I remembered about the manual. None of the sales guys were very knowledgeable (I even had to pull the game off the shelf for them). Is there any way for me to get a printed manual[&:] Thanks:-)

Didn't the manual come in the DVD case?

I'm also confused - though I had to miss Origins due to being sick, I thought all boxed copies of this year's games at Origins included a printed manual.

Just to comment, I also got my copy at Origins. The guys at the booth were not very approachable. I am not sure why it was that way, as their games are so great. It just seems like Matrix might want to work on their PR staff a bit. I was hoping to get a chance to just talk a bit about JTCS but no one seemed to have any interest in talking at all.

Just a comment.

Thanks,
Duncan

You might have simply had bad luck with the "shift", not everybody on the team is fit with every game [;)]

Generally that's why we go there, to get in touch with customers, show what we have and demo, as well as some chit chat. And we did that a lot. So much that for most of the part everybody had a hard time to get a word out of his throat on sunday.

Just out of curiousity, which day [;)]?

I was there on Thursday.  I remember seeing you there as well.  I know that the first day of the con is kinda of rough as people are getting up to speed.  Perhaps people were just busy getting the booth working right or what ever.  I just seemed like no one was really open to talking and that everyone was busy (not neseccarily with other gamers too.)

We will see how Gen Con goes. ;)

Thanks,
Duncan

According to the discussion above, the manual is enclosed within the CD case.

The weight of the box should tell you something [;)]
