Any Masochists Out There?

Looking for an Allied Opponent for Stock Scenario #2: Rising Sun.

As added incentives...

1. Historical First Turn: Surprise OFF
2. The Shokaku and Zuikaku will remain in port at Palau for the duration of the game after entering there (OOA 2/01/42 - IRL these two went to a yard period during this scenario and never participated in the SRA campaign at all). Their Air Groups will remain on their respective carriers.
3. 33rd and 55th IJA Divs will be divided into thirds and only 2/3rds of each will participate in Burma operations - one regt of each will sit in Phomn Penh or whatever. (Neither one was at full strength and in fact the South Seas Amphib Bde was built around one of their regiments and never rejoined its division).

Just to make sure everybody gets it: I'll play the Japanese but with the historically accurate reductions in force noted above.

I'd be game. A small map scenario might be a nice change of pace. I'll PM you with e-mail, send me a turn if you're interested.

Open to any house rules, but for a shorter scenario we probably don't need to worry much. the only thing I'd ask is no overstacking of airfields - limit to 50 airframes/level of airbase.

I've been researching a CHS version of this scenario and frankly if the original had been done with a bit of thought and PBEM in mind it would make for a really great GAME. In any case let it begin.
