Never saw the McCallum injury before.  That is truly hideous.  Reminds me a lot of one of the most famous injuries of all time...

I was watching the Raiders-49ers game when McCallum's injury happened. I think that was Ken Norton lying on the ground, not moving under McCallum while the Raider was screaming in pain. He didn't scramble out of there, just did his best to soothe the guy who just had his leg mangled.

Two others that come to mind that were pretty horrific, both involving the 49ers...

-The Bengals Tim Krumrie snapping his leg in Super Bowl XXIII.

-Bryant Young getting his lower leg folded in half by teammate Dana Stubblefield's helmet in a 1998 game against the Giants.

Both seriously turned my stomach.

Oh, you know the NFL, Marauders. They have to have ultimate control of everything under their umbrella.

I'm half surprised that xxxx hasn't been shut down with all the NFL uniforms.
