Hard copies shipped?

Did the hard copies ship on July 2 as it was the "estimated" date announced and still stated in red text on the "purchase" page of this site?

Yup.Got email that it shipped on the 3rd.

It is July 16th and Im still waiting for my hard copy of CEAW and my hard copy of Carriers at War. Havent got either one of them yet.. [:(] Anyone know why the delay?

If there is a delay, it only appears worse than it is because Matrix make the Digital Download available right away. There are other things to take into account with physical copies not least of which is logistics.

Matrix opened a discussion a while back about whether it was a good idea or not to supply the digital download as soon as it was ready. I, as others did, said yes, it was. Unfortunately, because you get the Digital Download rightaway, it does put the spotlight, rather, on the time it takes to get the masters burned, manuals printed and boxes created and then shipped.

I'd rather the digital download was released as soo as it is ready and wait for the physical copy...afterall, you don't get anything extra really...do you?
