I always like to look at weights and of course tales of bombing missions when i dont have official data like this http://www.history.navy.mil/branches/org4-8.htm that states clearely range Vs loads etc.

The revised and comprehensive (for bombers) document above is in MS Word. It looks better in MS Word and is uploaded for use by anyone interested. It is applicable to RHSEOS at all three levels. While most of these bombers also appear in other RHS scenarios, some are not present in them, and others they use are absent.

This is intended to be a game player's crib sheet, permitting decision making in the context of what various aircraft can do in terms of ranges. In game terms, bombers carry no weapons at all to transfer range, reduced weapons load to extended range, and (usually) the listed weapons load to normal range. You can see the normal range and extended range loads in the aircraft data section of the game screen, but in RHS be advised that sometimes these will be misleading: if the air unit name has a suffex like AP it means an AP bomb loadout is used for example (vice the more normal GP bomb loadout). Other suffexes in use include T for torpedo loadout, K for ASW loadout, GP for GP bombs, and CB for Cluster bombs. Normally an extended range load is half the "maximum" (i.e. normal) range load.
