Well ... I also admit that WA got an unfair adv on PP ... and i have just utilized it at the fullest extent.

Sp46

So this is it, as I said I had no chances at all, from the manual:
"Scenario V and the Postwar Continuation Game (see section 14.3.1) ends at the end of the Winter ’48 turn. The Soviet player scores an Automatic (Decisive) Victory if they have 25 Strategic Points at the end of any Western Allies turn. The Western Allies player scores an Automatic (Decisive) Victory if they have 25 Strategic Points at the end of any Soviet turn. Otherwise, at the end of the Winter ’48 turn, if the Western Allies player has 22 or more Strategic Points they will win a Marginal Victory."

Anthony managed to bring up his victory points up to 31 and I managed to drop them down to 27 but to no effect. WW3 has been shortest than the 6 days war [:D]

Yeah, there is a big balance issue there but the pt is everyone got the chance to play WA so its pretty much on how u take your chance to win (or not to lose) ...

btw, good game and thanks for rjh and fcam for their patience while waiting for the WA build-up.

Good Job guys, nice aar reading.
I have just tallied up the AAR points.
I am allowing all players to miss 1 post before penalties are applied.
If I made any mistakes let me know.

Haudrauf  5  x  .25  =  1.25  missed sp43 fa43 wi44 (-2)  =  (-.75)
fcam        0  x  .25  =  0   missed  fa42 wi44 sp44 su44 wi45 su45 (-5) = (-5)

rjh1972    20  x  .25  =  5  Missed none (0) = 5
