Been away for a while

Post by regularbird »

I quit playing the game shortly after purchasing the initial release, because the AI was way to weak. I logged in the other day to see how things have progressed. I downloaded the latest patch, loaded up coming fury and went at it. WOW, the AI is 150% better it really looks like the game has come together. There are still a couple of things that I do not love but this is a huge improvement over the initial release. Way to stick with it guys.

Glad you're pleased. And of course, feel free to chime in with any suggestions for improvements.

Most issues that I do have would be way to hard to change, most have to do with the map.  However, one nice thing would be the ability to toggle off disease.

One change you'll notice is that diseased has been toned way down.

That's already in there, just turn off the box marked "Unit Attrition" when you start a new game.

It seems as though the way camps are handled has changed.  Can someone please bring me up to speed on how reinforcements calculations are handled?

Is there a limit or decreased effectiveness for multiple camps per province?  It appears as though camps do not take up space in a province, is that accurate?  Thanks in advance for answers.

They no longer count against building limits. Currently there is no diminishing return from multiple camps, though we're considering it internally.

For each camp a province has is there a 25% chance to reduce population in April?  ie..If I have 4 camps in New Orleans will there be 4 chances to reduce population each April?
