Is there a campaign game?

Post by Pandemic »

The manual states that

1. opening guns is 3 turns
2. the other 4 scenarios are 6 turns - do we not have a full 1914-1918 game ?

Oh there's got to be a full campaign....You mean it is not showing up on the main menu as a scenario option?

The manual also says you can play on past the end of the scenario.

mm i got

1. opening guns (1914)
2. stalemate (1915)
3. war without end (1916)
4 revolution (1917)

in the game, th manual indicates opening guns is 3 turns only, but maybe thats wrong ?

I would think so...Start playing opening guns and see what happens at the end of turn three...

Jeez I hope so - in the beta's each campaign was only a starting point with different OOB's and positions - all of them had the same end point in 1919!

Hmmm... WWI with year-long turns... Don't think that would sell very well, for some reason...[:D]

From the manual:

"There are scenarios for each year of the war. What they are is starting points for the campaign. They can be played for a year or continued on to the end of the campaign"

I guess that means that when you starts a scenario, after a year there is a victor declared, or you can keep playing.
