Dead Destroyer ??

I need to find a dead destroyer to be able to get Ion Tech but even though I am fighting enemies which use Ion I cant seem to find a destroyer. What do they look like so I know what to look for ??

Ok I found one and wish I hadnt [;)]

I found that I could research more ION technology once I killed other alien units using ION technology. Hope this helps.

I remember the first time I came across those. I barely survived with one soldier. After I found their weakness I look forward to them.
