Games Freaks Out! Help Please

I don't know if anyone ran into this problem before, but when I playing the game, it start to freak out and the rainbow pixals start to pops up everywhere on my monitor, then it fixes itself and again it will freak out.....and lag and crash my computer. Then finally my computer would self restart. Anyone ran into this problem before? I tired lower the game resolution and updating all my video card drivers the to the most current. Ican't think of anything else. Hopefully someone can help.

hm, sounds like a hardware/driver issue... what are your sistem specs ?

System: Windows XP
Dual Core Processor (First Gen)
Dual: Nvidia Gefore7900GS Video Cards
4 gigs of memory
Asus motherboard

The funny thing about thing this problem is it just started to happen recently. I've play the gamejust fine for a few days/weeks before this issue. Anyways, any help is apprecaited.
