Still Unclear On The Turn Structure

Post by tgb »

One thing I still don't think I get is the relationship between turns, impulses and phases. Do I have this right?

Each turn (2 months) is made up of 2-4 impulses which count down. Each impulse is made up of the following phases:

Playback (of the previous resolution phase)
Strategic
Activation
Orders
Resolution
Playback (of the previous resolution phase)
Strategic
Activation
Orders
Resolution

The one exception is the deployment phase on the very first turn.

No - there's only 1 strategic phase per TUTN, not per impulse

Strategic only occurs at the beginning of the turn before the first impulse....
