Finding Army HQs units?

Post by a24cav »

I got a message saying I have 3 Army HQs available (that I haven't used yet), but how do you find them? I have only formed one Army, but the Army HQ elements do not show up on the roster, so is there another way to locate them so I can move them where they need to go?

The roster list can filter for HQs.  It's a button near the top.  There is a limit to the number of HQs available depending on the time in a scenario, so perhaps the message is alerting you that the limit has changed.
I believe that HQ are purchased in the support element of the reinforcements section, and replacements can be purchased for them like any other unit.

I am not sure, but I think it could also mean that you are eligable to order (as in request, not command) a new Army HQ: REINFORCEMENTS (F2) - SUPPORT - ARMY HQ. It will only be available if you are allowed to request a new Army HQ unit to be built.

Yeah, i think it means you have 3 HQ avalaible to "buy".
You must order his construction and pay for them.
If i´m not mistaken, each player begins with only one army HQ deployed and no option to build another one until some time pass (don't remember the exact date).
That message tells you that now you can buils up to 3 more.
I think its to simulate the pace of the USA and CSA armies organization.

Cheers!
