Honestly I'd have to say about 3. This could improve based on further patching, mods, etc. Currently I think the setup of the existing scenarios is a little sloppy.

Nonetheless if they release more patches enhancing and fixing some tweaks my rate would increase fast.
But somehow I'm afraid that rather than doing so, we will see a CEaW part II, with all thing that should been included in it. Developers have to make a living out of it [;)]

And what do you mean by that? SC2 isn't that great. What makes it so good in your eyes?

SC2 is a pretty good game IMO - I play it reasonably regularly - am in 1 PBEM now.  
 
This one should have been better by virtue of having seen what SC2 managed to do for a year or 2 - instead I think it's about the same level, so it is a wasted opportunity.  It stil works tho - i'm in 2 PBEM's and an interrupted TCP/IP game.

I am pleased with the support so far - although I think there could have been a bit more work on the AI before the game was initially released. Also hoping for the addition of weather on the West Front.

Definitely 1. Its fun and I personnaly have a challenge to win my first game as Axis.

3, but think it could be a 1 if they address the needed changes. AI does not matter to me, just the PBEM and TCP/IP

I've now played 2 games, both of which I gave up (defeated) playing the Axis. I am definitely happy, so 2.

Once the quirks and weak AI routines are ironed out, it will be one of the best out there.

I give it a 1. I'm a sucker for games like this -- easy to place, nice graphics, and good gameplay.

I'll give it a 1+ if it continues improvements via a patch!

I agree with IDG---2+ and closing in on 1. It is only a patch or two away from that status imo.

Barely a 3.  It will go up to a solid 2 after another couple of patches and some real PBEM playback.
