Anyone try the Shiloh scenario ?

AGEOD’S American Civil War - The Blue and the Gray is a historical operational strategy game with a simultaneous turn-based engine (WEGO system) that places players at the head of the USA or CSA during the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Anyone try the Shiloh scenario ?

Post by scout1 »

Couple of questions ,,,,,,

Unless I got it wrong (highly likely), this scenario starts with Grant's Army (Army of Tenn) without ANY combat units and can't join any from the get go ? Sherman's div is the only one active, but can't have him join Grant either ....

Seems odd to start with an Armiless Army.....

So what don't I understand here ?

You can drag division or individual units to Grant's army and they will join it.

Can't form Corps...Might be a Corps limit in the scenario.

You need 2 star general to form corps and it need be active one

So far only sherman is active but he is a 1 star general , if I am not wrong here

scout1, be wary, in AACW the army stack is NOT the whole army... The fighting arms are the corps... See the 2nd tutorial about that.
