How do they get these resources out of there .. no railroads .. [&:]
Wheel barrows .. Pack animals .. or they just load tons of rocks into truckies ... [X(]
I think since there are not 2 many cities in certain areas .. railing units in and out of resources might be a good idea .. [X(]

I know in Africa if you're more than 2 or 3 hexes away from the coast you're out of supply. You are never in full supply in africa either. I think it is a distance from your capital rule. Also ports can supply I believe. I am not sure what your meaning is.

Are you speaking about resources from oil, or mines? and how they are brought to your country? whatever.... I am sure the infrastructure exists.

Unclear as to your statement here.

You cant rail in and out of resource hexes .. unless they are adjacent to a city ..
So how they get the Oil and the rockies out of there .. by ponies ???
Fill some planes with Oil .. few pipelines back then .. what about rest of the board .. not just mid east .. [:'(]

Many areas did not have rail.  Specially Iraq did not.  It only had the German line to the coast and Ankara laid by the Germans. Think Russia used ships.  The one in Germany makes no sense but you should be able to take the rails to any hex that had rail not just those few cities they show on the mapl.  But then balance issues are probably the problem.

Oh they could never have used the Iranian oil without shipping from the gulf, this is true.  Iraq there were pipelines to haifa and lebanon.  There were also pipelines through caucasus, so if the axis had that they could also use the Persian oil

I have been looking for a source of when the oil pipelines where laid to the locations mentioned and was unable to find any source so I still not sure they were available during WW2.

There was no track laid during or prior to WW2 so would be hard to move it without that pipeline except to sea where tracks where laid in 1903 by the Germans.

Some history of soviet pipelines in the Caucasus and elsewhere is at http://www.transneft.ru/About/History/Default.asp?LANG=EN&ID=241 - rail transport is also mentioned.
