Game area "Ineligible" in the East

Post by Sytass »

A friend and I are currently in a PBEM game. I (CP) noticed that my Ottomans can't go further than column 34, and my opponent notices similar in Russia east of column 35. Please see my screenies below for explanation. Everything without national flags is unplayable.

For Ottomans I thought that some sort of trigger for their Caucasus campaign wasn't met, but when my opponent mentioned the same problem for Russia I began suspecting something else. Egypt has a similar "border" in a line running south from Alexandria.

Has anyone else seen something like this?

Not sure if it's a game error or a gameplay problem, which is why I didn't post in support.

In my game, when Turkey joined the war there were a line of Turkish and Russian troops in the Caucasus already set-up- you don't have any corps in the Caucasus?.  I strategically moved a Turkish HQ there and a Turkish corp to Iraq.

In previous (solo) games, both Russia and Turkey had troops in Caucasus. Not this time. Movement into the "non-flag" region is not possible. :(

I do not understand why you are getting that as Turkey and Russia are completely covered with National Flags in my game....

It is in most my games, but not in this one. Really odd.
