slowing down russia

Post by randell765 »

I am pretty good at using the available armies to stop the serbs but Russia gives me problems, any suggestions? Also, what is a good amount of German units in )initial placement), should I send to the Russian line? Do I use A units or should I use B units?

Assuming you are going for the "France first" policy, then put the B corps on the eastern front. You will have time to add to those forces as more reserve corps are activated over the next 2 turns.

If you have some wild idea of replicating the Tannenburg and Mansurian Lakes campaign, then you will want to have a few A corps there at the start. Keep in mind that those few corps can be of great importance in the first two turns against France.
Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.
