Note for Frank

Post by EUBanana »

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but in my game against the AI Trieste fell to the Entente.

Buuut. The Austrian Navy was based at Trieste and I only noticed this after the city had been occupied. And they were still operating out of Trieste for two years even though Trieste was not in Austrian hands. [;)].

I couldnt even rebase them because I had a couple of badly damaged dreadnoughts there which weren't going anywhere, so they stayed in an Italian held port for most of the war.

I have wondered and aked about the fate of Fleets when their home Port is captured by the enemy. I had figured that they would automaticly Rebase to the nearest friendly Port.

Yes, they should have automatically rebased.  If there was no other base to go to they should scuttle.
