West Front + WIR

I am new to the board here but played WIR on my Amiga many years ago. Hello to everyone.

Anyway, I also played west front and would like to know if its possible to merge the two games. Would really make a substantial change to this game.

Also, will someone please clarify if the tank change will be made (IE: can put any type of tank in for jpz, stug or panzer). Hate having 1500 Tiger I and cant use them. Its a game and one of the enjoyable aspects is "changing" history through new methods. Would also love to have more SS infantry units... but thats another post.

When will we be able to replace the Stug and Jpz with Tiger I or other tanks of preference?

Hi, I don't see how, prehaps we can all whine to GG before he gets to far into his new WIR game and make him expand it to the whole war. WIR and WF use differing command structures. (In WF allies do not have armour corps) Also being DOS based there are limits to the number of units that can be used. Both of these issues will no doubt be resolved with the newer program languages and OS. But it's at least 2 years in the future as he has just moved from UV to WitP. (figure a year here and then a year on new WIR)

They make the claim on their website, but right now it isn't anything more than vaporware.
