Supply and Attrition ..

Post by IrishGuards »

I was also looking at the situation for supply and attrition ...
Why are the swine Allies able to send the UK ftr and strat to hide behind the Maginot .. and be in supply 5 and conduct missions np ..
When the German units in East Prussia on turn 1 are in supply 3 ... [:-]

I can see how in NAfr the Italians are supply 3 .. ok .. desert and all .. across the Med ..
As the swine Allied units are cut out of supply .. and there Eff is reduced .. after numerous turns they should start losing strength also ..???

They are getting supply from the French in Paris.

If we play with my optional cooperation rules you won't be allowed to do that until Italy joins the war, at which point it is probably too late.

If distance is too great from your Major country Capital (Berlin or Rome) then you will get supply penalty but I think it works good and means you can have abit advantage fighting in your home turf.

Yeah, but you only count penalty from your friendly Capitals, so Axis can never count the penalty distance from Paris or Moscow despite capturing them they still count distandce from Rome or Berlin. So, London and Paris is close enough to provide Allies with full supply. Berlin and Rome too, unless you are in West Coast France or Spain where the distance crosses the penalty distance limit [:)]

In your language I would simply put it as -> "easier is... bomb the swine instead of its supplies" [:D] [;)]
