NATO unit icons

Post by krrpt »

I wasn't going to bother giving this out, but what the hell. If anyone is interested in this I could be convinced to zip 'em up and release 'em. I cleaned up the god awful fuzzy flags and am using some shapes and color to differentiate the unit's info.

I'm still experimenting with colors and so on, but the below screen shot is pretty close to what they're going to look like.

yuck!!  [;)]

Jeez don't we get enough regular geometry in every other game??  Why would you want little boxes instead of pictures of 18 lbers, Poilu, tommy, Mk IV's and the like??

(tongue firmly in cheek - but I do like the pictures much better - it's not like there's a huge number of different unit types that need to be sorted out!)

I would like to have that, I hate the pictures on the counters.

Yes, indeed, I'm much more interested in WiF than Guns of August, but I always wanted to play a game about WWI.
