Co-op multiplayer?

Post by Llyranor »

Upon reading on the multiplayer, it mentions playing against other players. However, is co-op play also available? Would it be possible to share units with another player, or play as two allied groups against the AI?

Thanks.

If the scenario has been designed for it, that is certainly possible. There are some scens like that but not too many - and Multi-Player scens tend to have to be much shorter in time than Solitaire ones.

So you are dependednt on finding or building a scen with the required number of sides.

Co-op is available as Freek says where the scenarios have been crafted for it. It takes the form of two or more friendly sides (akin to allied) against the AI or more human players. Each of the human players controls their own units and has no command authority over their friend's units. It can make for an interesting game trying to figure out how to convince your allies in the game to commit their forces, especially if it is to almost certain death. There are very few of these scenarios at present.
