What is the 'PO'?

Post by endfire79 »

I know it's a silly question, but what is this PO that gets mentionned everywhere?

Programed Opponent: something the scenario designer can add in order to let you play against your own computer.........

Other games call this AI routines, LOL!

Not all toaw scenarios have such, these are refered to as 'pbem only' scenarios........

Good reason for 'reading the notes/docs' concerning any scenario your interested in!

Note that one can read same by opening the .sce using wordpad....!!

The next release (3.2) adds a number of features to make programming Elmer easier, so I'm hoping that the creators will revisit their scenarios and update them.

And so do we ALL, Ralph, so do we all!

On the other hand 'Mr. Goodman', this should at least flush out some of the 'almost ready' sorts into 'game in playtest' sorts catagory, eh?

One can hope, but what your doing is what makes it possible........[&o]
