mortars

Post by themattcurtis »

I remember playing CCII and CCIII and the biggest frustration I ever had was that my mortars could NEVER hit anywhere within a mile of my chosen target, while the AI's mortar shells invariably found my weapons crews and took them out in near record time.

Did anyone ever experience that? And is it duplicated here? I'm about to spend the last of my recreational $$ from my tax return on this title, as I still loved the series. But I was just wondering....

Havent played against the AI, but against a player it mostly hit the around the target, but on shorter range it gets lucky at times. Best usage is for smoke :)
Chess is the ultimate strategy game, unfortunately you lack the random chance to blame.
