Naval Combat Question

We had a major naval encounter in the North Sea as the German Fleet sailed forth. 4 German dreadnaughts vs. 6 British. Several engagements ensued but the last 2 were interesting. The 2nd to last engagement the German Bayern was noted as sunk (total 24 hits over 2 encounters) but then it appeared again in the last engagement, managed 2 hits of it's own then was sunk again. Was it not really sunk in the 2nd to last engagement (how many hits does it take to sink a Dreadnaught?) or is there some error in the naval engagement?

IIRC all naval engagements are "simultaneous", regardless of what order they appear in

I had that happen last night with the Goeben.  Sunk but reemerged to fight in another engagement in the same turn.
