thanks, I cannot use the ftp matrix serverr for the beta patch, does anyone know has it gone out to the public sites yet?

Right click and "save target as" should do it.

nope trust this is sue has gone on for years! ftp at M site will not cooperate with my settings, and I have truied to disable zonealarm and Macafeeto no avail, thanks

Sounds like you're using a browser to connect to Matrix's ftp? If so, have you considered an ftp client? SmartFTP is an excellent free offering.

With respect to your original question: I haven't yet noticed it mirrored elsewhere (likely due to its beta status).

this would be GREAT if I could actually get the updates to the 12 or so games active Matrix games I own out of the many Matrix games purchased or play tested... actually most of them go public access , butstill it would be nice for the betas! anyone help?

I guess with 5000 posts you may have done this, but have you contacted Matrix (Erik or Marc) and reported this?

they said I probably had an firewall issue and said to send an email to support.. this was so long ago I do not remember the resolution! Tyhe thing is EVER other site allows me to dl.. very odd my ftp client failed!

I've always had to turn off the Windows firewall (XP) in order to download updates from Matrix's ftp server. Once its off it works fine.

I do not use the windows firewall, but use instead Zone alarm and macaffee
