Withdraw?

Hi
I have just played the demo and sometimes when I fight a big battle an wins it my troops withdraw to another area, why?

It is a great game and I will buy it.

1. First off are you sure you were the winer?
2. If they were pregramed to move to a different area they might keep moving
3. A leader might choose to withdraw them to a different area
4. It is the demo and the realgame is much better so if you like the demo at all just buy the game, install the Patch(s)
    and have a great time.

Probably there is another enemy force initiate battle and after calculation , your commander decided to retreat
