Map size and units number?

Post by grisouille_slith »

I've have seen your beautiful maps! Good job! Howerver I have a question (maybe already put in this forum!).

As the maps are larger and as we have the same number of land units as in the WiF boardgame, isn't there a problem of unit number versus scale of the map? For example, to cover the china front or the border between URSS and Japan, Japan will need more units than in the boardgame? What about the playability? Maybe you already answer this question before changing the scale of the map, but I'm new in this forum...

Welcome.

There is a thread devoted to the question of changing the China map. It is somewhat old, so you might have to go back a ways to find it.
