I see you poking around here today and posting.

Thanks for your website. Any updates to it in the works?

LOL. Thanks for noticing!

I just bought this version the other day and am poking around trying to figure out how much work older stuff would take to work again and what new stuff might be done. Jason and I have exchanged emails and I'll keep poking and we'll see where that leads. :)

In the mean time, I saw some confusion about finding my site. The easiest way to get there is just redarrowproductions.com and follow the links from there. Bear in mind some of those files date back to EFI and don't work at all, I'm sorry to say.

All the best and congrats to The Team for keeping the CS moving forward.

Once you've settled in with the Matrix Edition, I'd like to see the Hot War / Cold War revised.

I never got around to installing the Hot War files, you lost me with the DOS commands, lol, but I am interested in playing these scenarios.

Or wait to see what comes out of the team with the Vietnam and Korean war mods. I threw together a battle with the DG Korean War mod with some T34s vs Pershings just for kicks, but my scenario skills are lacking.

I will do my best to make Hot War: 1946 available for the Matrix version of the Campaign Series.

If I recall correctly, the Korea and Vietnam scenarios were done by those same people who created the Matrix edition of the Campaign Series. So I'm guessing your odds of seeing them updated are quite good. :)

Best,

Craig

Old scenarios and LCGs should all work UNLESS there are custom platoon units not in the Matrix version of the game or worse ones that conflict with existing Matrix units.

Custom units must be changed to conform to the Matrix units numeration in platoon oob/obx and weapon pdt/pdx files.

Best thing to do would be to get with the Matrix team and get the units and scn/lcgs fixed and made official so the games are in the fold and thus we can play them without screwing up our game files. [:(]
