Not to mention Migs 19 through to 31, come in number 19 your time is up! And lets not talk about the dreaded esyou's[:D]

Which was the strategic map as both seemed to cover just aboot everywhere you could hide?

Since maps seem to be the current topic, I would like to mention a couple of issues.

1. Most activity in the game often occurs in relatively small areas. For instance in WESTPAC, hot areas are the Formosa Strait and the Korean Strait. I have found it awkward to use the game at greater than 8x zoom. With a large map, intense activity in these small geographical areas ends up being mostly in a postage size portion of the screen. This makes it difficult to separately pick up groups with the mouse and to see what is going on.

2. A second map issue is with the choice of locations. The Mid-East has arguably been the most volatile area in the world for the last half century. HC only addresses this, map wise, as a split situation, using a small corner of the MED and IOPG maps. I would seem that a map of the middle east would provide a ripe area for many scenarios.

Just my $.02 worth.

Soooooooo.......I have the game (PC), but I can't figure out how to change the images for ships, planes, etc from military symbols to normal symbols (ships, planes, etc). Is there a way to do this that I'm missing, or is it not integrated into the game?

Go to Settings, then Game Icons, and choose from either "Stylized" or "CDS" at the bottom of the pop up window.

That sure would be nice, can't see that happening though, the Matrix manual writer is once again not getting the materials back as soon as promised. Been wasting some of my Harpoon time taking screen videos of Harpoon 3 ANW, perhaps I'll find some time to play HCE and post up a video.

Great job TonyE!!!!!!!!!

Settle.... SETTLE...... ok, slowly put the ANW manual back onto the desk and move away [:-] Its a well known fact that proficiency of ANW is a sure sign of mis-spent youth, .........or was that 8-ball?[8|]

Must say Im quite looking forward to seeing all the bits and bobs that have been added since I last owned a copy, I take it there are scenario/database editors included or available via third party? If only 'Mr manual man' would get his digit out of his proverbial (Im sticking with the official line).[8D]

Oh well back to H3, .....oh! its ok, I have been inoculated...... rather like it in fact. Working on being a proficient! << dont know, just reminded me of the monty python sketch!
