Survey for online CS gamers

Post by RedDevil1 »

I'm trying to gather some data from gamers here who have successfully connected and played the Matrix CS Edition Online.

What was the Operating System of both players?
What Game was played? (EF, WF, RS)
Were you able to host and join, or only join, or only host?
What Firewall was being used? (Windows, router supplied, 3rd party)
What Firewall settings did you use/adjust? (turned off, allowed program access, etc)
What brand of router? (if any)
What router settings did you use/adjust? (DMZ host on/off, port forwarding, etc)
Did you use Hamachi?
What settings did you use/adjust for Hamachi?
Did you use another 3rd party networking program?
What settings did you use/adjust on this program?

Stay on the topic here please![:-]

Thanks for your input![&o]

You using Hamachi? Biggest roadblock probably would be someone's router then a firewall.

Just looking for people with answers to my questions, not a test game or a hamachi thread.. That's why I asked for folks to remain on topic :)
