Pure Sim unique features vs OOTP7

What unique features/gameplay does Pure Sim have that OOTP7 does not have.

I'm looking at both games, and might get both, but leaning more toward OOTP7 because of the play by play and career manager mode.

I never played OOTP beyond the demo stage a couple years ago, so I cannot fairly compare the two. I remember not being able to do a season replay (within the demo) to my satisfaction, so I stuck with PureSim.

My best advice on PureSim is just to peruse this board. What you will find is a programmer listening to the advice of his customer base and consistently making small changes to the benefit of the user.

One thing that's scored big points for me: Occasionally, PureSim owners have made posts which prompt Shaun to bad-mouth OOTP or other programs. Every time, without exception, Shaun has complimented OOTP and encouraged his customers to own more than one sim. This shows me that Shaun has confidence in his program's ability to keep its' customer base.

Another thing which may be a factor: Shaun is a big Red Sox fan. With the Sawx doing well again this year, it must have put him into a good baseball frame of mind. We've seen several great updates recently. Some of these updates, such as September call-ups and speech engine editing, were "handed" to us much earlier than expected (and free). It has been fun, lately!
