Kamineko

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

Kamineko is a character from the anime series Azumanga Daioh. He is a cute grey-black cat who has the habit of biting anyone who comes near him.

Why is this important? Because I want to put hios head on a MaxFB helmet.

If anyone knows a way to do this, I'd appreciate the aid.

Just an example. If you like it, just right click and save as u6.bmp

It goes in the teams home and away folder

If you want changes, let me know

Well, that was a pleasant surprise! I'm in the process of downloading the GIMP, a freeware graphbics manipulator similar in function to Photoshop and Illustrator, and was thinking that might be able to helo me with some of these tasks. But I hope you would be willing to consult with me again on some of these.

Right now one practical problem I'm finding in my test league is that I find teams on the FBMax site with graphics I want to use but want to change the team names. I need to figure out how to make team banners to replace the ones that come with the teams whose images I'm "borrowing".

Yes, those are the ones. I took the Forest Dragons' AFL unis and gave them to an 11-man team, the Portland Dragons, and took the nold WFL Portland Storm unis and name and gave them to a team in Chicago. when they played, it weas opened as a game between the Portland Forest Dragons (not Portland Dragons) and the Portland (not Chicago) Storm.

I need to make new banners for teams, in addition to everything else. And end zone graphics. By the way, what sort of end zone graphic would work for AFC Kamineko? I'd also like to put some custom banners in the stadium, like an ad for Mihama Technologies (In my fantasy league, I claim that Chiyo Mihama owns the team and I'm just in charge of Player Personnell).

Now that I have the GIMP working, I'm finding the color selection options less than intuitive. Although I did find the home jersey color I wanted -- 914cb0, a nice dark purple -- I'm finding recreating that color to be somewhat difficult. I'd prefer the piping to be somewhat yellow -- not ghastly yellow, but a nice contrast, and the away jerseys to be light grey with the lettering in the purple of the home jerseys.

Why I'm having trouble figuing out how to do it myself I have no idea.

Well the ad part to hard in fact i found easier to use gimp for making my ads for my stadiums . If i wanted the real ad i`d either scan it or find it on comp , like a pepsi ad . Then I`d either take a wall from stadium, and adjust the size for ad so fit on wall . .Another thing take look at scoreboard a lot of us have renamed the score boards with stadium names and either put actual game shots on jumbo trons with maybe ads around it . You can use unpacked stadiums or some that already made by others . Myself i`ve adjusted and fool with enought stadiums others have made to make at lease 160 stadiums . If i decide to make NCAA LEAGUE might end up making alot more .

Paint Shop Pro now, still haveing trouble figuring it out. Gary sent me a full uni for the team that he thought would look pretty good, and so far it has. I'm trying to figure out a stadium for them now. I'd like to be able to make a variation of one of the stadiums I downloaded, Dallas Arena, but I'd like to change the file cheer.bmp to an AzuDai cast picture, the symbols on s11.bmp and and s08.bmp to that series' ubiqtuous "Ah!" hiragana symbol, and the flag to that of Japan.

By the way, playing a 50-yard game with indoor rules in a much larger outdoor arena in  the snow looks really weird. Funny, but weird.
