Ballpark Image

Post by vicrus »

Can someone please tell me why when I modify the ballpark, the ballpark comes up,but when I go to play the game the image is always the default park. I have the parks in the mods folder, but not sure if something is missing, or I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks, Russ

I can help, if I know what's wrong.

Post an example pic. Know how to do that?

What are the exact steps you are taking?

Importing park pics is easy once you try it once or twice-- example -- my pic for the old Polo Grounds in New York:

I have the pictures from downloading them, but when I start the game itself, the default field comes up. It's as if the field I select such as Fenway Park doesn't come up in the game.
Thanks, Russ

You have to manually select the pics from each team's front office page. Click a team, select front office, and then click ball park.

This has to be done for each team in your league. That's why I designed prebuilt start years for players to use.

What year do you want?

Maybe that's why I'm not getting them to show up. I only selected one team. The wierd thing is, I had it working this morning, but after trying to clean some files up, I can't get it to work again.

Thanks for the help. Now it works. One thing I've found is, the dimensions for the old Yankee Stadium is not correct. If I recall, the deepest part of the park was around 465'. I think they have it as the new dimensions. Is there any file I can use to correct this.
Thanks, Russ

You CAN manually edit the dimensions, and then export this to a file of your choosing.
