I just downloaded COI and it doesnt work. I have a hp pav 9000 with Vista 64 bit. Is there anything I can do to get this up and running?

Does the download install?

Does Command Center Load?

Do the videos Play?

Do you reach the Splash screen

The Main Screen?

We need more info if we are to help.

When I click the icon the thing pops up and then I click on play and then screen goes black then it says COI has quit working and windows will get back to me with a solution.

Run CC3.exe in win98 compatibility mode

Navigate to C:\Program Files\Close Combat\Close Combat III\cc3.exe

right click on cc3.exe and choose properties

choose compatibility TAB

chose win98 compatiblity.

Also check run as Administrator

That should get you going
