Industry converted to raw materials ?

I have noticed that industry now is converted to raw materials when their city is conquered. Notice Paris and Lyon below which have been taken by Germany.

Is this change intentional with patch 1.1 ?

Nope, what you're seeing there is that Paris and Lyon's industry have all been destroyed.  Since both hexes are also worth a point of raw materials you now see that icon whereas before it would have been overwritten by the industry one.

Right - but how does one know if an industry hex is worth raw materials as well if it can't be seen unless the industry has been destroyed ?

Or is every industry hex also worth one raw material ?
