vs Flight Commander 2?

In Hornet Leader PC, you command a squadron of the U.S. Navy’s elite F/A-18 Hornet Strike Fighters! You select the pilots and arm the aircraft based on real-world mission briefings. Once you reach your objective, you evaluate threats, and do what needs to be done to destroy the target!

I still play FC2 from time to time - this wonderful game from '94 plays on XP and at *any* screen res... [8D]
No way to really mod the "database", everything is in the executable and BFC stopped all support a long time ago. I still have SPI's AirWar boardgame with its '84 database also [8|]
Back to HL , it's much more abstracted and simple to play than FC2 (which tracks every missile, throttle, altitude ...).
I have the Vassal version, but I'm a lazy guy having difficulty to apply the rules and will prefer the "full" version [:D].
