Problems with Meta Campaigns

I tried to play all four meta campaigns, but as soon as I select one of my units the game auto exits to the desktop. I just purchased the game and have version 8.4. Any help would be appreciated

Check to see if Command and control is on, if so..turn it off

That did the trick, thanks for the help. Can you tell me why having command and control on is a problem?

I don't really know, and I suspect most of the rest of the players don't, either. The programmers know it's a problem, but have never had the time or opportunity to correct it.
