Schedule creation

Post by redwolf1 »

Yes, still lurking and quite hopeful for v2.0 - sounds great!...even though I have once again returned to my yearly slider projects for Madden and have been enjoying this year's version (with the help of incredible 3rd party utilities)...anyways...

Will we see a new schedule creation logorithum with v2.0 or is there a utility in the works that makes schedule creation more feasible (less time consuming) for larger leagues (eg. >12 teams)?

RE: Schedule creation

Hi and welcome back.

I'm not sure what version you last saw, but version 2.0 uses a generic round robin system for generating schedules. Its goal is to simply ensure each team plays every other team, once at home and once on the road. The game also ships with a schedule editor (as a separate app)

thanks
David

Thanks for the reply David. I am familiar with the round-robin system as it is now (have the latest public release version) and the schedule editor.

So I see that the system will be the same for v2. I was hoping that perhaps it would be modified, or a new schedule utility (perhaps with templates(?)) was on the horizon that allowed for playing division rivials playing twice during the season (1 home, 1 away). I know this can be done with the current schedule editor, but it becomes a really daunting task if you don't have a small size league...

Could this be put on the "to-do-list" for future upgrades?

Anyway, thank you for your reply, your community involvement, and your continued strong efforts with Maximum Football. :)
