This includes their fates, recovery, and forensic analysis. Also it explores why the message from USS Ward
was not acted upon to prevent surprise. It treats the information from Advance Force Pearl Harbor (the first to publish forensic evidence that USS Tennessee was likely hit by one of them) seriously. Done to scholarly standards.
