Serbia Galicia 1914

Post by endfire79 »

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to the WW1 scenarios, and I need some help with this one. I'm playing as the Serbian/Russians and I'd appreciate if anyone has some general pointers for this scenario. Thanks!

It's a little late and your game may be over by now, but as Serbia/Russia best idea is to advance as fast and far as possible with the Russians before you hit the AH line, then keep up the pressure towards objectives and along rail lines for supply as best you can. All the while defending as best as possible and as far forward as possible as Serbia. Russia needs to be pro-active herself (?) here and Serbia reactive to enemy moves.

There's a Balkans 12 and Tannenberg 14 article I wrote out there somewhere that discuss specific tactics for WWI (++) that may be of use. Hope this helps. I'd be interested in how the scenario goes and how you find it. Been meaning to tackle it for ages but never got around to it.
Tactics are based on Weapons... Strategy on Movement... and Movement on Supply. (J. F. C. Fuller 1878-1966)
