Joystick throttle problems

OK, I've seen a few other posts on this but no answers that have helped me. I picked up the game the other day (great game!) but it won't recognize the throttle control on my Saitek X-52. Any suggestions from the devs on this?

OK, I figured it out. First I updated the drivers, but still no dice. Then I noticed that the game was recognizing the little slider on the throttle control instead of the throttle itself. So I went into the key mapping screen and changed it to the throttle control. For some reason, it didn't work at first, but I shut down, restarted and tried it again, and this time it finally worked.
