Most awaited WW2 game?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

I am waiting patiently for Combat Leader, Combat Mission B to B and Korsum 44. The Steel Panthers WAW game is my favorite ever since they first came out back with SSI. Combat Mission is a favorite just a little behind Steel Panthers. I play a lot of Squad Battles Vietnam for tactical infantry operations and play a lot of Smolensk, Kharkov and am patiently awaiting the Korsum 44 release (which I officially haven't seen any dates of release as yet).

just seen a screenshot and an interview concerning Combat Mission 2(from gamespot), it looks quite good... But I haven't played CB before, could anyone tell me whether SPWAW or CB is better? (As a WW2 simulation, which can make us most likely on the battlefield)

I'm waiting for Combat Leader! There's alot of graphically interesting WW2 games coming out in the next little while, but I've seen an awful lot of crap on the bandwagon lately.

Most awaited WW2 game?

Defintely Fire in the East

Ooops wait an explanation is in order heheh:)

A few years back I got a store to order in Fire in the East (its the monster board game for ya newbies).

Stupidly I told my wargamer buddy that the first with the cash got to buy it. I say stupidly because my buddy has a high paying union job, and I have a disability pension.
So I don't have the game not surprisingly.
He does, but he doesn't have anywhere to set up a 6' x 8' mapsheet errrrrr.

And I can't purchase it myself logically. Who the heck else other than him am I going to play it against. And he already has a copy.

He has had the **** game since 94, and I am still waiting.

Hmmmm oh you meant most awaited sooooooooftware game:D
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.
