cpu vs cpu V2.0 Stats issue

Post by pdozer63 »

First of all, I think the V2.0 update is awesome. I want to thank David for fixing so many of the issues that used to drive me crazy.
I have completely reset my league and started a new season #1. (2 complete seasons in the tank)
So far I have played 4 games, all cpu vs cpu.
I have seen 2 interceptions so far, but the game is not acknowledging interceptions in the statistics.
Also, of the 4 games played, one was in a dome, the other 3 outdoors. I have seen 1 rain game, and the other 2 outdoor games had the denoted weather "inside".
These are the only problems I have encountered so far, other than that the game play has been terrific.
Any feedback would be welcome.

are we sure this is entirely a stat issue ive watch a few cpu vs cpu games now pro rated playes and havnt seen a pick yet?   been at least 5 games full length... gonna test some more later with over rated dbs to try and force a pick.

Hi.

When you first start a league interceptions are rare. As the players progress through training camp and their CAT skill encreases over time, you will see more interceptions. The CAT skills for DB's were purposefully generated a little low so as to avoid a lot of interceptions in games. So as these players progress, you will see more inteceptions.

hmm how rare shud they be tho? my team has a few dbs with cat rating over 80...
sill no picks but i see see lotsa completions to wideouts from balls hitting the dbs and flying around in the air.

if a db gets a chance at tipped ball he always misses?maybe worth looking into ive played over 10 games and still no picks.   thx

well i know the last league i was playing before i screwed up and reset it after 12 weeks of 18 week season , I saw the DB`S INCREASING IN SKILL . Most any had at that point was 3 but my league started out slow to with interceptions as season progressed saw db`s play better on ball. In fact one QB I made with a great rating , had 8 picks by that point in the season. Best pick i saw was on 2 point conversion , by MLB MIKE O`SHEA as DAVE DICKENSON ROLLED OUT threw across middle late in game . Dickenson was guy with 7 picks against to . These were cpu vs cpu full 15 min quarters games cfl rules . Never simmmed any games . So i agree with Dave they do start showing .

David, FYI - I have continued with the season, making sure not to hit the space bar between plays and also I have instant replay turned on, and still the INT's are not being recorded. Just wanted to throw that in.

i have found the same thing. Interceptions are happening and are not being recorded.

Hopefully this is just a small issue, as 2.0 is much better than the first release. So far in games I have watched cpu vs cpu they have been just as good or better than watching an NFL game.

I have had other stats issues also and have them in another thread.

last 3 games , i`ve had cpu vs cpu , 15 min ,games seen at lease one in each game .Cfl field and plays still in first week . Eah time happened was barely glancing at cpu so took , a sec or to to realise it was int . Because it was`nt recorded in stats . I like ideal of players as they get experience start picking off pass at better rate . Istill remember how when the game came out 2006 ,how in games i saw some games 6 to 7 picks . So this is preferable to that .
