Concerning AARs
If a subordinate delivers an AAR but you accidentally dismiss it when you go on lunch break, is it possible to view the AAR again? Or is it lost forever?

I got an AAR but accidentally zoomed in and clicked the exit button. Is it possible to view this AAR again, or is it lost forever?

RE: Concerning AARs
Do you mean the replay of your opponent moves? In this case I fear that the replay its lost i don't know any way to wiew it once again.
RE: Concerning AARs
No, this is all a terrible, terrible misunderstanding. I mean my AAR, after I conclude an assault. Here, like the picture in the 2nd Civil War thread, if I am give permission for its use (please):
His AAR from http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1574459

That sort of thing. Am I able to view it again if I exit the window?

RE: Concerning AARs
Oh sorry for the mistake! Now I 've understood your question.
But unfurtunately the answer is the same: I'm pretty sure that there is no way to watch it again. Maybe if is very important you can reload and do the attack again, but only if you play against the PO of course.

RE: Concerning AARs
Well, I am playing against the PO, but I just wanted to see my losses. It's kind of inconvienient that you only get to see them once if at all. I mean, what do my secretaries do, shred them?

RE: Concerning AARs
If it's just for the general losses you can check the situation report, if you play with that option enabled. But it gives you just the general percentual, not the whole detailed report. You will find it in your saves directory

Well, thats somewhat helpful, at least.

I think he (Sker) means the sit rep log - provided you have turned it on in the advanced game options and you know the hex coordinates
RE: Concerning AARs
If there is something interesting I don't want to lose, I end up doing a screen shot and saving it in a folder. The sit rep log only shows top level info, not the nitty gritty stuff I am interested in... Problem is it becomes a pain in the rear cutting and pasting 10 thousand times during a scenario. [>:]

Well, the problem was caused by the invisible glitch which blots out windows when you zoom in.

RE: Concerning AARs
I am now the commanding officer of the U.S. 1st and 9th Armies along the German West Wall. It is Turn 6, and it seems a chance bombardment on an enemy divisional HQ blew up a futuristic radio jammer, allowing my officers to report the situation. Here are some interesting sectors along the Wall:
AACHEN SECTOR SEPT. 15TH 0757 HOURS - My men had to fight and pocket a good deal to form this beautiful line. I've got the equivalent of 3-5 infantry divisions and 2 tank divisions there. We know they have various garrison companies and a tank regiment along the wall. It is speculated that they have more than 4 infantry divisions east of Aachen. The pockets in the North are the fools who tried to flank the 18th Inf. Regiment along the line. The circled pocket has been holding out for the past 5 days, although the brigadier general in charge of the attack expects to eliminate them within 7 hours.

LUXEMBOURG SECTOR SEPT. 15 0828 HOURS - 7 against Thebes... Recon reports tell us that there are at least 3 infantry divisions in and behind those lines... more than that Armoured Division can handle.
http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/8038 ... urggt4.png
MAASTRICHT SECTOR SEPT. 15TH 0907 HOURS - A week ago, a forward regiment was smashed by an enemy Volksgrenadier division. The 117th and 120th Inf. Regiments with supporting units moved to reinforce. After a day or two of protracted fighting, they received 2-3 tank divisions in the area as reinforcements. Mop-up commencing.

RE: Concerning AARs
Turn 8 Cont.
Luxembourg degrading, distraction attempt dismal failure.
Central South mostly success with platoon and tank platoon losses.
Central North mostly success with company-size losses.
Aachen had some success with moderate battalion losses.
Maastricht had total success with negligible losses.
In total, about 500-700 men, at least 150 trucks and 150 jeeps with 15 tanks and various other equipments. Their losses are generally unknown, but they have lost at least 2 Panthers, some Pz. 4s and Stugs, and over 1200 men with 200 trucks. One massive bombardment annihilated one of their battalions completely. Only 2 M4/105 Shermans lost. What do you think?

RE: Concerning AARs
000***000-Damage Report Sept. 18 1803 Hours-000***000
2SS Pz Regt, Central South- They had artillery support, and evaded my forces. Their losses-0. My losses are 6 trucks, 3 jeeps, and a squad of riflemen. We do have reported sightings of the enemy tanks by snipers, and we know they have at least 6 Stug 42s.
Wahlerscheid assault, Central north - Their postions held. We lost 2 rifle squads, 9 jeeps, a halftrack, and one of every kind of Sherman except Jumbo. They lost 60 men, at least half a dozen heavy Mgs, and some 20 mm AAs.
253 Ersatz, north of Kerkgrade, Aachen sector - They held the positions, but took massive casualties. My losses are 1 rifle squad, 8 jeeps, 2 trucks, and a mortar. They lost 50 men out of a company strength unit, at least 1/3 of their Mgs, and 2 80 mm mortars.
176 Res. Div HQ, Maastricht Sector - Total surrender of enemy forces with 30 men, two jeeps, and 1 halftrack lost to resistance. 20 men and 2 dozen vehicles captured.
Maastricht Pocket, Maastricht Sector- Total surrender of pocketed infantry. Losses are reported as 30 men, 2 self-propelled quad AAs, a jeep, 2 halftracks, and 4 tanks. Surrendered enemies are at least 150 men, an 88mm AA, 2 dozen vehicles, a half-dozen guns ranging from 75mm to 152 mm, and 3 dozen machine guns.
Schmidthof, Aachen Sector- Pocket attempt a failure. High losses reported. They had artillery support, which surprised us completely. We lost 30 men, 3 mortars, 3 AA MGs of unreported type, 14 jeeps, 20 trucks, and an M8 Greyhound. High transport vehicle losses will severely drain transport capablility along the line. Their losses equal 30-40 Mgs, over 250 men, and several guns and mortars of unkown caliber.
Laurenberg, Aachen Sector- Secondary attempt at Laurenberg a phyrric victory. Slightly higher losses, and the enemy lost at least half their force. However they had artillery support as well. My forces came to a standstill after defeating the enemy. Enemy forces retreated backwards into Laurenberg, but not into the pocket. I lost 100 men, a dozen Mgs, 22 jeeps, 2 M8 Greyhounds, 9 trucks, a dozen mortars of medium caliber, and 3 6-pounder guns. Enemy losses have been estimated as high as 500 men, 4 dozen Mgs, 10 guns, a dozen mortars, and a dozen trucks.
Central South - Bombardment of advance enemy units of 108 Pz. Brigade caused high mounts of casualties. Intercepted radio signals revealed, with the aid of a translator, that the Germans incurred losses of over 100 men, 20 Mgs, several light guns, and some sdKfz vehicles of unknown type.
