While digging around for something related to my own service in the US Military on EBAY. I happen to run across a number of people selling either CD versions, http://stores.ebay.com/Great-Naval-Images_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZQ2d33QQftidZ2QQtZkm of World War 2 cruise books.

Or you can do find the actual copies of the cruise books, http://cgi.ebay.com/USS-NEVADA-BB-36-WW2-CRUISE-BOOK-1941-46_W0QQitemZ6620615741QQihZ018QQcategoryZ4717QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem, though the actual hard copies are expensive.

There are a few other stores on line selling USN Cruise Books. I don't know if anyone is doing the same for RN, RAN, or Royal Dutch Navy cruise boks.
Some of these might be valuable for you die hard reference hunting folks
